Hey there! I’m Curtis Townsend— a.k.a Curtis Brandsit, an artist and merch designer based in Seattle, WA.
I live and breathe art, apparel, and the craft of turning ideas into tangible brands you can wear, share, or collect. From custom headwear and screen-printed tees to limited drops and one-off collabs, this space is where my work and process come together.
Whether you’re an artist, brand, or everyday creative, my goal is to show what’s possible when design meets entrepreneurship—and help you create merch that actually connects with people
the purpose of this site
I want to make one thing abundantly clear: I’m no guru!
I certainly don’t have all the answers.
The purpose of this site is to share my journey and the lessons I’ve learned from nearly a decade in the trenches as a small business owner / solopreneur.
Over the past decade I’ve worked at the intersection of:
🎨 Art & Design → From sketchbook to screenprint.
👕 Merch & Apparel → Wearable stories that move people.
🚀 Creative Entrepreneurship → Lessons from building brands and projects from scratch.
Here’s what I’ve learned along the way:
1. Merch is art you can hold in your hands. It’s a way to share your vision with the world—one hoodie, hat, or sticker at a time.
2. Ownership matters. Building your own creative projects is the best way to control your work and your future.
3. Now is the time. There’s never been a better moment to turn your art into something people can rep, collect, and treasure
